A Trip to Aguirangan Island

February 10, 2018 - It was Saturday when my wife and I decided to go on a road trip. We initially wanted to go to a place in Libmanan Camarines for some photo shoot near a waterfall, but we ended up in a resort in Maangas Presentation Camarines Sur. We were the only guests in the hotel that cost us only 1,500.00 pesos for an overnight stay.

Across the beach is an Island called Aguirangan Island also known as Rose Islet. At that time we were so dead tired that we took a nap and by 4:00 in the afternoon we hired a small boat to get us to the island, It cost us only 600.00 for a round trip plus a 100.00 pesos entrance fee for the two of us. The sand in the Island is not as powdery compared to Boracay, but it has the most peaceful environment that I've ever been. My wife and I did a lot of photo shoot, We enjoyed every moment of it (you can check out all our pictures with this Island at the Album page). Before dusk we headed back to our hotel, but before that our kind bangkero offered us to buy his fresh catch of fish. The Hotel Caretaker also offered to cook it for us, He even arranged a table for us at the entrance of the Hotel (as I told you earlier, we were the only guest in the Hotel).

We went to bed at around 11 pm. The next day, as the sun rises, we had another photo shoot near the beach, we packed up by 10 am and travel back home. It was indeed our best vacation this year, Hoping to return to this lovely place in Maangas, Presentation Camarines Sur.
